I'm driven to bridge theory with tangible impact in technology.
I enjoy tackling challenges that sit at the intersection of software, hardware,
control systems, and real-world impact.
Over the past year, I have worked closely with hardware startups to turn early-stage
concepts into functional prototypes. At Nautic, we are pioneering a novel diving system
that automates buoyancy control, making diving safer, easier, and more accessible.
I hold a Master's in Robotics Engineering from UNSW, where I studied control and modelling,
autonomous systems, machine learning, perception and reinforcement learning. I am particularly
interested in navigation, sensor fusion, embedded autonomy, mission systems and safety-critical
physical products.
My broader experience includes setting a Guinness World Record and completing my
undergraduate thesis with the UNSW Sunswift solar car team, working as a research
assistant on pedestrian detection in LiDAR point clouds, tutoring engineering students,
supporting founders at UNSW's startup incubator, and interning at Eppendorf South Pacific.
In my free time, I enjoy chasing adrenaline through kite-surfing, mountain biking, and diving.
Taking systems from ambiguous objectives through to field trials and stakeholder review. I combine first-principles analysis with hands-on delivery: CAD/FEA, fabrication and CNC, plus electronics prototyping and PCB.
C/C++, Python and MATLAB for embedded control, sensor and actuator interfaces, physical-system modelling and feedback-control development from siumulations to real-world environments.
